How to – do Valentine’s day in style
Valentine’s outfit for every occasion
Valentine’s day is around the corner – as well as its general pressure and high expectations! It has become a big commercial festivity and most of the times we do not even know where it comes from or why we celebrate it. But still, every February 14th around the world, candy, flowers and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. We are supposed to celebrate it with our second half—but when you already feel whole, who says there needs to be another person in the mix? So whatever you will be doing, celebrating with your other half, your best friend or by your own, take the opportunity to pamper yourself and indulge in a lavish dinner, SPA day or movie night!
We have put together a little guide on how to dress for this special day wherever you will be – obviously after you have chosen the right gift!
1 – Romantic dinner
Opt for an elegant dress, but not too much. If you have a prominent neckline, it’s better to choose a mid length; if you prefer a mini dress, then keep the upper part a bit more covered. It’s always a dinner, not a night out in a club! Black is always a good choice, but it’s also nice to follow the latest trends such as velvet, satin or sequin.
2 – SPA day
Spa’s are always a good choice to relax and get out of your daily routine. Sauna and massages are all you need to switch off your brain. A good swimsuit is a must for this occasion.
3 – Movie night
Who doesn’t like a good movie in good company? If you are tempted to put on your “comfy old pajama”, you can leave it in the closet now. For Valentine’s day stay away from unicorns, rabbits and weird prints. Elegant silk pajamas are the perfect solutions!
