Stressed? Take The Stress Check!

A mask by This Works feels like you’re taking your face to a day in the spa

According to my doctor of traditional Chinese medicine I’ve a stress pulse and am stressed as a general condition. Superbly annoying as his verdict is, it’s also true that I tend to have more on my plate than I can happily devour. You can imagine how prone I am to be attracted to products that promise to relief stress. This face mask by British ethical beauty brand This Works does. And I have to say: The Stress Check Face Mask is offers more than just a catchy title.

It’s not often that I’m really into a beauty product. There are some that I like because they do their job properly, like my face cream that I put on day and night because its nighttime version is too heavy for my skin and some that I stick with because they’re better than all other products I’ve tried. That’s the case with my eye cream that I happen to use day and night as well, again, as the night version of it is too heavy. (And I stick with the advice that one shouldn’t use too many brands at a time because the skin gets confused and is prone to break outs). The Stress Check Face Mask by This Works seems to be a great fit all around. First, it comes in an easily squeezable tube so you can apply it evenly all around. It smells quite pleasant, the texture is great, it sinks into the skin nicely and gives you a plump skin with a soft glow that feels like you’ve done both a steam bath and a super soft facial. Need I say this is abou as de-stressing as a proper mediation session?
