These ten brands are worth having a look at

I’m a fan of British newspaper The Guardian fashion reporting and wanted to share this good read on ethical fashion with you. It sums up ten brands that are worth looking into, all of them with very different aesthetics but all united by the idea of producing ethically and being mindful with all resources, wether its the actual people or the fabrics. Many of them meet the Fair-a-porter standard as well – as you know we curate by four different criterias which are raw materials, longevity, transparency and sustainability.

For example there’s the the ASOS Africa line that features eco-credentials. All of the items, like the lovely pants, are made by SOKO, a clothing manufacturing unit based in a wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. It’s a factory built on fair trade principles with the aim of providing local people with secure employment. Have fun reading up and happy friday!
