This Light Time Cleanse is exactly what I need on a Friday when usually my energy isn’t exactly peaking. I’ve a great, mediocre or sometimes even crushing week behind me, still the workload of what I haven’t gotten round to doing piling up on my desk and the weekend is in sight but not yet there. To perk me up I love to indulge in a short but pleasing beauty routine in the morning to get my energies up. One of my last additions to this is the Light Time Cleanse and Glow- cleaning balm by British brand This Works.

A balm like a ray of light

The Light Time Cleanse & Glow squeezes from a tube and is gel-like with a pleasantly fresh and citric scent. That’s the first perk of using it – the scent is an olfactory wake-up call. The second perk is that it’s super easy to use: Just put a tiny amount on the index finger of each hand and start massaging into your dry skin. Then dampen your fingers and keep on massaging in a circular motion to activate the vitamin C for a minute. Depending on taste and skin sensitivity you can leave it on for up to ten minutes. I usually go with the one minute treatment, rinse it off and am ready to go with a healthy glow already.

This Work’s Light Time Cleanse & Glow consists of Jojoba-oil, sweet almond oil, sunflower seed wax and is enriched with Vitamin C and E. As with all products of the This Works family it is free of Phthalates, Sulphates, synthic colors or fragrances as well as Parabens and GMO’s, mineral oils, Petrolatum and Propylene Glycol. Which basically means that all that’s left in this potion is to love. Oh, and the pretty packaging is made from partly recycled cardboard. Happy Friday!
