Bag of the day: PB 0110

Preview of the A/W 2017 collection

I have to admit it – I am bag obsessed. I have had this thing for bags since I was quite young and it’s just a real addiction! Some people have it with shoes or belts for example…well my little pleasure is when every season I look for the new perfect bag. The German brand PB0110 is one of my favorite when it come to clean and minimalistic design. Founded in 2012 by Philip Bree, son of Renate and Wolf Peter Bree – the renown german company – he continued the family legacy by using only natural raw materials yet strives for a more modern aesthetic.

Despite the simple design, they stand out because of their clean cut and functional detailing. The bags are made from natural leather that is sourced from Italy and has been vegetable tanned. Some of the bags are made from linen, harvested in Belgium and grown without the use of pesticides. All zippers are sourced from Germany and the production is held close to reduce CO2 emission. They have around 30 models – and every season I am quite impressed. Right now my favorite one is the AB38. It comes in several colors – I am in love with the baby blue – and I find the shape so irresistible…big enough to keep all my essentials for a night out! With the new A/W 2017 collection the brand decided to keep the minimalist and clean style – which has been characterizing the label since its first season. However, in addition to the classic colors some new additions have been added this season.
