Actress Emma Watson knows a thing or two about ethical style
Discover her latest instagram account on the topic
Ever since Emma Watson has graduated from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and turned from child star to young woman she has had a thing for ethical fashion. She’s promoted the topic with activist Livia Firth at the Green Carpet Challenge, she’s collaborated with British ethical fashion brand People Tree as well as New York based ethical fashion platform Zady. Now she uses her promotional tour for her role in “Beauty And The Beast” to let us into her wardrobe and talk about her fashion choices. Without her instagram account @The_Press_Tour I wouldn’t have known that her vintage Louis Vuitton gown is made from recycled polyester – that came as a pleasant surprise.
If you follow her you’ll not only enjoy the gossipy part of what she wore on what occasion but also insights into how that’s sustainable. Her first post was about her love for Paris: “Bonjour Paris! Coat is from @stellamccartney, the world’s first luxury brand that is committed to producing products that do not use leather, skins, feathers or fur. Instead, Stella has spent years developing ways of using materials such as regenerated cashmere, recycled fabrics, organic cotton and forest-friendly fabrics.”
