Three ways to style this seasons’ silhouettes
We’re ready to bare some legs even if spring isn’t really around the corner. But is it doable in winter? Hell, yeah! From pencil skirts, midi length, A-line cuts and pleated versions to classic denim, leather, velvet or ruffled styles – a skirt is probably the most versatile garment of all and an essential when transitioning into the next season.
They are feminine, comfortable and easy to style. Need some inspiration? Have a look at our galeries below and find your favourite look in our shop.
High waisted skirts work for everyone and every occasion. The classic pencil skirt combined with a silk shirt and heels is always a good choice for the office or an elegant dinner, while there is no better way to look cool and sexy in a stretch leather skirt. You want to show your curves without going all in? Take a midi slim skirt with fringes and some pop of colour, pair it with a sweater, some casual brogues and a thick leather coat. Et Voila!
Pleated skirts are back in full swing and the most flirty ones amongst all styles. Make sure you chose the right one for your body type. Drop waist pleats hide a bit of a tummy, where as lose pleats are adding some curves to more boyish figures. We teamed a navy glittery skirt with a turtle neck top, an oversized coat and suede ankle boots to create a rather preppy look.
Last but no least we chose a sporty look with a denim skirt. The 90’s trend is no longer a regrettable memory in acid stonewash but a true wardrobe staple. Opt for a dark blue, slim A-line. This style is perfect to mix with cashmere jumpers or silk tops. Now, all you have to do is slip into your favourite pair of sneakers and you are ready for a weekend stroll. To make the look pop, simply add colourful accessories like a red handbag or a silk scarf with a colourful pattern.
